Illinois Trip
So...it's been awhile since we've posted. We just had a very exciting trip to Illinois for the World Horseshoe tournament. Nathan and Blaine both pitched and did very well. Nathan ended up taking 11th overall for the 18 yr old and under. He pitched in the championship play off's for #1 in the world in the Jr. division. He held his own and did pretty well against those horseshoe pitchers that pitched 87% ringers. He started quite a few of the games with a double ringer...just to intimidate a little bit. He held his own.
We had the opportunity to go to Carthage, IL, Nauvoo, IL, all of the Lincoln sites in Springfield, IL, Far West, Winter Quarters in Omaha, NE, the Mark Twain sites in Hannibal, MO and Adam-ondi-auhman. It was a very long drive, but well worth it!

March 2009
So, we have had quite an exciting month. From a major crisis with our best friends to moving my children to their new homes!
Christie and BJ moved first. We spent most of the day on the 14th moving and cleaning the apartment. We got Christie kind of settled in her new home. Last Saturday the 28th, we moved Johnathon and Kierston into their new home. The day before Christie moved, we helped to paint the garage and trim of the house so that it would qualify for FHA funding. We spent most of the day with them and then we went to Angela's apartment and moved her back home, at least for now.
We are all feeling muscles that we didn't even know we had!
